Welcome to my photo gallery!

Since I was a little girl, I've loved being out in nature. We had a little woodland behind our house in Omaha and I'd go wandering all by myself, or I'd hide in the lilac bushes, just soaking in the aromas and the peace and quiet. 
Now I'm located in eastern Oklahoma, at the edge of the Ozarks and the Boston Mountains, and close to the Arkansas River. I still enjoy getting out and hiking or kayaking, enjoying the beauty of God's creation around me.

Be sure to take a look at the gallery "Seen from a vintage lens," where I have closeups created with a film lens and adapter on my modern digital camera. The light and bokeh affects are amazing! Many of my photos are suitable as background images for memes, messages or advertising.

I have been a stock photo contributor since 2014, and have thousands of photos available online through Adobe, Getty Images and Dreamstime. I'm a native of Nebraska, and before retiring I spent 25 plus years in the publishing field, including newspapers, magazines, and websites (when it was a fairly new phenomenon.) I received a BFA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and enjoy traditional drawing and painting as well. In the publishing world, I've worked as a graphic designer, photographer and proofreader. My favorite challenge was laying out entire magazines, making the photos, copy and advertising work together to create a beautiful piece.
